Going out to eat at a restaurant can be challenging and daunting with a new baby or toddler. Many first time parents wonder whether their baby will be welcome at a restaurant. Well, we have researched the local restaurants and to the joy of new parents the following restaurants will not only welcome your visit but your baby as well! All restaurants come complete with diaper changing facilities and high chairs.
FYI - the typical restaurant wooden high chair works great as a holder for your bucket seat (just turn the high chair upside down and place your bucket seat on top).

Boston Pizza is ‘two experiences under one roof’ – a family-friendly casual dining restaurant with a separate sports bar.

Located across the street from Kelowna’s prized Lake Okanagan and on the corner of Cook and Lakeshore, Cabana Bar & Grille is an oasis for regional, rustic, family cuisine. Their focus is to blend a casual relaxed atmosphere with great food and drink. The affordable menu focuses on fresh, healthy local produce which is cooked in creative ways by Celebrity Chef Ned Bell from the Food Network’s “Cook Like a Chef”.
Those nineteen and older can enjoy a sexy, urban designed lounge with full menu service, plasma TVs, and state of the art sound system. Meanwhile families and friends can experience the eclectic, casual warmth both indoors or out. Thursday, Friday and Saturdays after 8:00 pm, Cabana features live music for all to enjoy! Cabana Grille is locally owned and operated by parents of young children – so they understand the needs of new parents and welcome them wholeheartedly! As such they have changing facilities, high chairs, kid’s bathroom sinks and colouring books. They have even created the “Kids Eat Free” program which runs Sunday-Wednesday from September to April. So if you are looking for a great meal at a very baby-friendly restaurant try the Cabana Grille!
Cabana Bar & Grille is open daily from 11:30 am until midnight for both lunch and dinner and also offers take out.
