Immunizations

Vaccination programs are one of the most effective public health interventions to reduce disease and death in a population. Routine immunization programs for children are extremely effective in preventing illness and death from infectious diseases such as measles, polio and meningitis.

BC Health Services provide children with immunization against 13 infectious diseases.
